christian dating
hangman asked:

I’m a new Christian went on a 2nd date with a woman that is on her way to becoming born again. The date was to be dinner and a movie. When I picked her up she told me she already ate and was not in the mood for a movie so we went and played a few games of pool instead.
For starters SEX is not even a issue, I have taken a vow of abstance.

make sure you do not show any signs of rational thinking

Don’t have sex until you’re married.

That’s basically it.

The body is a temple, treat them like it.

You should start bible studies with her, and pray together.

You should marry someone that is saved, not someone that is unsaved.

Dating is fine, but if it goes on too long, you have to decide if it is a person that you would marry. If not, then there’s no point in dating them.

Hold sex until marriage

I’m catholic, so is my boyfriend. We’ve been together for 2 years, he’s a serious catholic I’m a lil more liberal. But we still have sex all the time, it doesn’t matter if you do, as long as you love eachother and know you’ll spend the rest of your life together. Look at it this way, we weren’t born evil, the way you turn out has nothing to do with your soul or your genes, it’s the life experiences thrown at you. So if you are internally a decent person, you do no wrong, but you have sex with the one you love, your soul mate, is god going to turn you away forever? Thats just a load of crap.

DOn’t forget your faith. If you keep to the fait you won’t have to worry about the rules because you’ll be following them. But a great start would be not cheating. Go to church or consult you church pastor/preist. But yeah no sex befor marriage. It’ll give you something to look forward to! ;)

Don’t even THINK about having sex, for to imagine a sin (sex outside marriage) is to have committed that sin.

Pool is also sinful. Have you never seen “The Music Man”?

Just exercise good morals and good decisions. Remember, you’re a Christian, not a Saint.

Love Hangman, Just love. The most of the above judgemental answers have no roots in the Bible. Use your own discretion based on love and respect. Respect yourself and respect your friend. You should be talking this over with her.

god give us advice in all kind of areas, this could be dateing and marriage,we should not be unequilty yoked, a beleiver does not have any think in comon with a nonebeliver, on marriage if a beleiver is already married to a unbeleiver and the unbeliever wants to leave god says let them go,but if they both beleive the word says to hang in there and you both will see the hand of god work in your marriage.hope this helps!
