No, would it not attract the wrong type of girl/boy? Or because they are sexually repressed they are more rampant?

I used to go to AA meetings that seemed to get me some action then there was all this higher power stuff, what a kill joy

Is it really? Wow. They sure don’t advertise it that way.

I don’t do dating services, but if I did, it might be fun to create an eHarmony profile for the sole purpose of blowing the minds of “good Christian girls”.

Er, no.
No online dating services for me.

For the hell of it, I once filled out their mile-long questionnaire thingy, and it said “sorry, cannot match you at this time”. I just wasn’t Christian enough for them!

Thing is, I knew it was a Christian dating site. I wanted to see if they’d match me at all. Seems they wouldn’t. I was actually a little surprised… but it’s OK since I didn’t want any matches made in cyber-heaven anyhow.

Are you saying eHarmony is a Christian dating service… or you tried the “eHarmony Christian Dating Service” ??

… I certainly hope eHarmony isn’t exclusively for Christians =O

NO ONE is as sexually uninhibited as someone who has had their sexuality repressed for most of their lives.

NO ONE is as sexually repressed as young Christian girls.

Do the math.

Well, hell, I never knew that was a Christian website.

It boggles my mind that American Christians need a “Christian dating service” when they pretty much need to travel to another country to meet anybody that’s not a Christian.

LOL

I tried their starter profile three times in the past five years and I have never been able to get approved. No idea why. I even tried switching the answers to see if anything would change.

Now it has become sort of a joke to see whether or not I can even get past their screening. I have no intention of joining. :)

I’ve largely given up on dating.
The chances of meeting just the right sort of madwoman are astronomical.

And to want to marry (or even date) me, mad she’d have to be.

psycho_lycious September 19, 2008 at 9:01 pm

no,I have never used any dating service.

Happy Man September 21, 2008 at 10:13 pm

No I don’t use dating services. No need for the man with the gab.
