Is Eharmony really just a Christian and church freak dating service?

christian dating
Awesome O asked:

I am a Christian, but I have found Eharmony to be literally filled with women who are not only Christian … but very involved in their Church. They are also looking for a man who is involved in Church a lot. I’ve heard the same complaint from others who use the site. It’s not very genuine as they don’t say anything about it being a Christian dating service. Is it because that Warren guy looks like a TV evangelist or what?

Yeah pretty much, I’ve heard they don’t let gay people join.

I have heard single friends make this same comment.

Frankly that ad claiming to match someone based on some generalized test for characteristics made me very suspicious.

It hasn’t been my experience that this is true. It is true that eHarmony will not take atheists or homosexual people.

You don’t like it, then do go there. Maybe this just doesn’t happen to be the dating service for you. People I know who have used it have nothing but good things to say about it. My sister also met her husband of 4 years on there. You are writing about church freaks, but eHarmony does try to keep the site respectful and keep the pervs off of it.

yes man if i talk to girls about meeting them at a bar or club then they wanted nothing to do with me

They seem to emphasize the spiritual side….thereby attracting more people who emphasize the spiritual side…etc.

I know on ROPer who found someone on there though.

I have no idea, but they only take credit cards. SO far they’ve found me some possibilities, but nothing deffinite, yet. Only one possible match they found for me, is in my city. Due to location, I hope something comes of it.

I just think a lot of christian women use the service because it is safe. I am not a huge christian and dont meet any christian go getter men on there. So I would say the women in your area find that site safe and not as scary as say match.com or americansingles

No, its not a christian dating service. Sadly i would have to say that most of the women on those dating services are dont go to church at all. And most of them have issues that they want a man to help resolve the issue. So, be careful with liars!!

It is not solely for Christians. If you don’t like matches that happen to be involved with the church, change your match settings in that preference. Would only take a minute and a couple of clicks to do this.

Eharmony is very popular dating service. But many guys can not find find their perfect partners there. And me too. When my ended my membership with eharmony, I joined some other dating sites. From my experiences, I think millionairecupid.com is a great dating site with many great christian singles. I didn’t tell you that it’s a site with 100% christian singles since it’s a dating sitefor wealthy singles and attractive singles. But I am 100% sure there are tons of christian singles there. Good luck.
