Unfortunately there probably isn’t a way to convince them, but at some point you will decide that what matters to you is more important than what matters to them, and those who respect your decisions will reveal themselves to be your true friends.
Why are letting your friends run your life? This is about what YOU want, not them. Sounds like they’re jealous, and you should just follow your own mind/heart, not listen to jealous friends. If they were real friends they would be happy for you and support you in whatever you decide. A nice person is a nice person whatever the colour, and if you are attracted, it’s your business and yours alone. You just need to decide whether YOU have control of your life or your friends do.
I think the first question is, why don’t they approve of interracial dating, or specifically white women? If they prefer black women, that’s fine, but they seem to be upset that you don’t agree. Maybe they think that you’re insulting black women by enjoying white women?
I would find out their motivation for saying these things first. They seem to have strong feelings on the subject and you need to know why.
What really matters is what you think! Correct.
