Besides which, saying you have an online bff, is just about as nerdy as saying you have an online girlfriend. I mean, can you really throw online dating aside as some terrible thing, but then have, technically, ‘fake’ friends?

Don’t get excited, I’m not trying to say they are bad things. I have online friends.

I’ve been dating my best friends husbands brother for a few months now. And lately she has been distant and then she tells me she feels we can’t be best friends anymore we can be just friends, that since I’m dating her brother in law she feels awkward with things and doesn’t feel we can be as close as we have always been. This situation is a friendship triangle. My best friend and I are like sisters. A few months ago we met this guy and we all became friends. So my guy friend and my girl friend have just started dating.

I want to know how should I act between the two of them. Other people keep telling me I should ignore my guy friend so I don’t get my girl friend jealous. Has anyone been in the middle like this before?
